Project Manager - Structural Steel Construction

Do you have experience managing structural steel construction projects in the U.S.? Do you want to be part of a growing company helping to construct healthcare facilities, schools, stadiums, and other prominent buildings? Then we want to hear from you! You must already be authorized to work in the U.S. AND have 5 years of structural steel project management experience.

We have an opening for a Project Manager to support structural steel projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. This person will be part of a project management team and ideally will work out of either the Federalsburg, MD, or Delmar, DE location. Remote work will be considered for the right candidate.Responsibilities:

Coordinate with detailers to monitor progress of drawings.

Identify, request, and follow up on required information from architects and engineers.

Perform field measurements.

Coordinate with other trades, suppliers, and sub-contractors.

Schedule production and delivery of materials.

Schedule and oversee erection.

Resolve job site problems.

Price and issue change order requests and negotiate change orders with General Contractors, Construction Managers, or Owners.

Work with accounting on job cost estimates and other financial matters.

Issue closeout documents.

Develop and maintain client relationships.

Develop and maintain erector relationships and capabilities.

Travel to job sites as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by company executives.Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in project management for a structural steel fabricator/erector OR at least 3 years of experience with a college degree in architecture, construction management, or civil/structural engineering.

Must be able to read architectural and structural drawings.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Job Details:

Salary: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
