Description
Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Revenue Cycle team with administrative tasks to expedite the turnaround of AR.
Responsible for downloading deposit/correspondence batches from a banking software tool (CashPro) and uploading into a database (LaserFiche).
Receives, stamps, scans, and distributes all incoming mail for the department
Responsible for scanning completed electronic funds transfer (EFT), and Credit Card batches into LaserFiche.
Manages all incoming faxes by distributing to appropriate staff in a timely manner
Prints and mails paper claims for the department in a timely manner
Handles requests for medical records
Prints and mails appeal forms with required documentation
Adheres to Medicare, Medicaid and HIPAA compliance guidelines in relation to billing, collections and PHI information
Participates in educational activities and attends weekly staff meetings
Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Requirements
High School Diploma required
0-1 year experience in the same/related field
Experience in supporting a medical office highly desirable
0-1 year experience in the same/related field
Experience in supporting a medical office highly desirable
Good math and data entry (typing) skills
Knowledge of business office procedures
Exercises good judgment and discretion
Familiarity with HIPAA privacy requirements for patient information. Maintains and protects confidential information
Proficient in use of computers and common office equipment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and ability to prioritize work
Works with minimal direction and oversight

Potential Hiring Range:
Salary Range: $17.25-$18.50 /hr.
Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
