Position Overview
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. This role ensures machines run smoothly, efficiently, and safely to meet production goals while maintaining product quality standards.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift
Schedule: 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $19-20
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate various types of machines (e.g., CNC, lathe, press, injection molding, packaging equipment).
Perform routine maintenance checks and report any issues to maintenance staff.
Load raw materials and monitor the production process to ensure quality standards.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain proper output.
Keep accurate records of production output and machine performance.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Clean and maintain machinery and work area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or schematics.
Basic math, measurement, and mechanical skills.
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
