Job Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible for developing media relations, crafting press releases, managing our organization’s reputation, and enhancing communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communication strategies.
• Manage print, digital, social, and website media to enhance brand presence.
• Create and design engaging content using Canva and Photoshop.
• Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets.
• Manage and grow the company's LinkedIn presence and other social media platforms.
• Coordinate with print media for coverage and advertisements.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Handle crisis communication
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and communication,
• Postgraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of print, digital, social, and website media.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in handling press releases, on print & digital media.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of media monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
