System Engineer

Position Summary ·

Ensure Systems Engineering methodology is applied to project technical baseline establishment and management

· Facilitate Innovation and Improvements in Systems Engineering Excellence in accordance with Company and Engineering Strategies

Key Responsibilities

· Support of Systems Engineering Groups development and objectives

· Contribution to excellence within the Systems Engineering Group and the broader Dematic business.

· Development of and adherence to Processes and Procedures within the Systems Engineering Group

· Supporting Project Managers and their teams to ensure the Systems Engineering integrity of projects is maintained and overseen

· Providing superior levels of Systems Engineering service, customer support and staff to

· Project Activities

· Sales Activities

· R&D Activities

· Proactively promoting group standards, innovation, improvements, risk identification and safety management

Work, Health, Safety & Environment (WHS&E) Responsibilities

· Ensure that work areas and equipment, under your control, are safe and without risk to health and safety.

· Ensure all hazards and incidents are identified, assessed, controlled and reported via Dematic’s reporting process.

· Provide appropriate instruction, information, training and supervision to workers, contractors, business partners, students and others to enable work to be

carried out safely.

· Implement responsibilities as identified in Dematic’s Injury Management Program.

· Other responsibilities as outlined in WHS&E system documentation.

Knowledge/Experience

· Tertiary Qualifications in Systems/Computer/Electrical Engineering or related disciplines

· Knowledge of Material Handling, order fulfillment and warehouse automation

· Experience in design and delivery of complex material handling systems

· Excellent communication skills

· Experience in programming and database analytics

· Attention to detail

· Customer facing role

· 2+ years Systems Engineering experience

Authorities

· Systems Engineering project documentation development and validation
