Job Title: Medication Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medications and assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in our Personal Care Community to ensure their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a professional and respectful manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications to clients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor clients for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications and report findings to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and client care activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in all aspects of care.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma, GED or be a certified CNA.
- Certification as a Medication Technician or equivalent training.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred.
- Strong understanding of medication administration and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be punctual.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
