Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.
Webasto is seeking results driven candidates to join our team as a Sales Manager at our North American headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI.
What you will do - Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow customer relationships & satisfaction • Secure profitable growth within our holistic product portfolio, prioritizing targeted platforms and opportunities.
Coordinate with internal cross functional teams to ensure customer and business unit success.
Secure cash flow income & EBIT targets to ensure positive company financial performance.
Maintain consistent presence with customer purchasing, engineering, and advanced development teams.
Represent the company as needed at industry events, trade shows, and technical demonstrations.
Define and execute mid & long-term strategy for customer accounts.
Identify & secure new business through strategic customer planning, relationship building, and active customer account management. The minimum requirements you will need:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
5 plus years of Sales experience; preferably in Tier 1 Automotive
Proven track record of success in sales
CRM system experience preferred
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Experience working with an Asian OEM is preferred, with emphasis on experience with Nissan and/or Hyundai/Kia.
Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong capacity to cultivate meaningful connections and instill confidence with customers What you will get
