Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pastry Chef located in Great Barrington, Ma. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods and desserts, including pastries, cakes, cookies, and confectioneries. They will oversee food preparation and baking processes, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met. Duties also include developing new recipes, managing inventory, and coordinating with other kitchen staff.
Qualifications
Bakery, Baking, and Cooking skills
Food Preparation and Culinary Skills
Experience in creating and decorating a variety of pastries and desserts
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Formal culinary training or certification in pastry arts is a plus
