Job Description: Under general supervision, responsible for general maintenance and landscaping at the RV Resort and daily pool cleaning and water testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mows, weeds, trims and fertilizes lawns

Prunes and plants trees and shrubs

Apply fertilizer to lawn

Provides maintenance on irrigation timers and valves

Operates power equipment including: mover, blower, weed eater, chain saw, pole saw, and chipper

Cleans pool and/or spa daily and tests water for appropriate chemical levels

Vacuum pool daily and clean skimmer baskets

Maintain pool equipment (basic maintenance and repairs)

Provides general maintenance to the resort

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge:

Understand basic maintenance principles

Must possess effective communication skills

Operation of a front end loader, forklift, backhoe and other equipment as required

Ability to:

Understand and carry out written and oral instructions

Perform maintenance and repair activities

Identify and communicate any maintenance related issues

Appropriately use vehicles, equipment and various power and hand held tools

Manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Work independently or in a team environment

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License or the ability to obtain

1 year maintenance experience

Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Requires lifting up to 75 lbs, extended periods of bending, stooping, squatting and occasional twisting

Must be capable of working outdoors during seasonal heat and/or cold or other adverse weather conditionsCompany Description
