The process team leader position is responsible for supervising plant employees in a mining processing and production environment. This position plans and assigns work and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Essential Functions

Ensure effective employee relations.

Provide process employee coaching and development.

Resolve process employee issues through problem resolution, with the assistance of the process manager and HR manager as required.

Balance Safety, Productivity, Quality, Cost and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.

Work to continuously improve in all areas.

Manage crew performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to process manager.

Operate all process plant functions with crew members in coordinating duties and tasks.

Maintain proper inventory levels.

Manage crew priorities.

Track absenteeism and timekeeping.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position supervises all process operators in their day-to-day tasks.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days may vary but are typically 7 on, 7 off, Thursday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7:00 AM. Overtime may be required as needed.

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Education and Experience - Previous production or process plant teal leader experience
