Job Description
Small service company servicing the paper, film, printing, tape, metal, and other industries has a position open for a field service tech to call on customers for managing their inventories and maintaining their equipment. A strong mechanical background is beneficial. We are the leader in the industry and will train the successful candidate. This is a travel position with up to 4 days per week visiting customers. We work a 4 day work week with 3 day weekends. Pay is based on 40 hours and requires overnights several nights a month. This position requires the applicant to pass a 7 year DMV drivers background check, Drug testing, and a physical.
Duties:
- Fabricate, install, and repair equipment in industrial settings.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues to determine the cause and implement appropriate solutions.
- Provide field service support to customers, ensuring timely response and resolution of technical issues.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working.
Experience:
- Previous experience as an industrial setting or field service technician is preferred.
- Proficient in analyzing and troubleshooting issues.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
