Electronics Technician – Security Systems

Overview:

Hiring an Electronics Technician to install, configure, troubleshoot, and service security control and monitoring systems for correctional, government, and commercial sites. Reports to VP of Operations. Hands-on technical skills, leadership ability, and strong customer service are key.

What You'll Do:

Install, test, and commission access control, video, locking, and communication systems.

Troubleshoot and service installed systems; write up reports.

Lead and coordinate with techs, engineers, and subcontractors.

Help estimate projects and keep tasks on schedule and budget.

Assist with design of security systems (video, access control, etc.).

Develop installation procedures to boost quality and efficiency.

What You Need:

High School Diploma (technical associate degree preferred).

Skilled with Microsoft Windows and Office.

Strong knowledge of IP networks, security cameras, access control, and troubleshooting systems.

Experience designing security layouts a plus.

Valid driver’s license and clean record.

Able to pass background check and drug test.

Willing to travel frequently (day and overnight trips).
