Systems Installation Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Installation Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will install and configure data, communication, security and audio/video systems on project locations through our Maryland, DC and Virginia.

Responsibilities:

Installation and termination of CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6a Cables

Installation and termination of Single Mode and Multi-Mode Fiber Optic Cables

Installation of multi conductor cables for security and audio video systems.

Installation of paging and intercom speakers and equipment.

Installation of security cameras, access control and IDS hardware.

Have transportation to get to and from project sites.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Telecommunications, IT Infrastructure, Security, and/or Audio/Video Systems or other related fields

Familiarity with cabling standards and local/national codes.

Industry certifications from industry leading manufacturers or industry associations.

Strong attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
