Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced 3PL Customer Service Representative (CSR) with routing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in third-party logistics (3PL), excellent customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate shipments efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Manage order processing, tracking, and shipment coordination within a 3PL environment.
Utilize routing guides to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to client and carrier requirements.
Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse teams, and customers to coordinate shipments and resolve logistics challenges.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure order fulfillment.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and customer communications.
Assist in handling freight claims, discrepancies, and returns as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a 3PL customer service or logistics-related role.
Routing Knowledge: Strong understanding of routing procedures and carrier guidelines.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve customer and logistics issues quickly and efficiently.
Technology: Proficiency in logistics software, WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
Compensation:
Pay rate is based on experience.
