Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled paint prepper to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Sand and smooth surfaces to create a uniform base for painting.

Apply masking tape and paper to protect areas that won't be painted (windows, bumpers, trim, etc.).

Apply primer to the prepared surfaces to protect them and create a good base for the paint.

Assist in mixing paint and primers.

Assist in operating and maintaining painting equipment and tools.

Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment.

Inspect repaired and primed panels for proper body repairs and primer application.

Work with the painting team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality work.

Assist in pre-paint blending needs.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Follow safety protocols and wear required safety equipment.

Help with replacing moldings, trim, and detail pieces.
