Glass Drafting Manager

CSG are currently partnered with a leading Glazing Sub-Contractor who are currently looking to add an experienced Engineering/Drafting Manager to their team. They are looking for employees that not only possess the skills and abilities to be a project engineer, but also a passion for growth and innovation!

Principal responsibilities:

review and comment on all shop drawings, revisions, material takeoffs, glass releases and fabrication packages

attend meetings for project and fabrication turnover, and CAD kickoff

work on shop drawings for projects

attend BIM coordination meeting (as needed)

Skills required:

proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam, Inventor is a plus

Knowledge of systems and materials used in the glazing industry

knowledge of software and tech equipment used in construction

adept with problem analysis and solving

consistent ability to exercise good judgement and make good decision
