Our boutique Temecula law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team and make an immediate impact in employment and trust litigation matters. $30 - $35 hourlyResponsibilities:
Manage reasonable caseload of civil litigation and trust litigation matters, from beginning to end.
Perform legal research and work with attorneys to develop and present legal arguments.
Complete legal forms and draft documents, including pleadings, discovery and responses, motions, status reports, settlement agreements, and other case filings.
Manage the discovery and litigation calendar and track deadlines.
Ensure attorneys are prepared for court appearances through trial and assist in the courtroom.
Interact with clients, court clerks, probate examiners, opposing parties, and opposing counsel.
Minimum billable hours: 1,400 per year for full-time (we expect high-quality work).Qualifications:
Must meet Business & Professions Code 6450-6456 definition of Paralegal.
3+ years of recent hands-on experience with cases filed in California courts; probate court experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of the California Rules of Court and Code of Civil Procedure is a must.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 required.
Familiarity with Clio Grow and Clio Manage is preferred.
Outstanding attention to detail, superior communication skills, and practical organizational skills are important for this position.About Company
