What will you do?

Advisory is a major growth area within Aurecon, which focusses on expertise to deliver commercially and technically led advisory services that empower clients to make well-informed capital decisions now and into the future.

We partner with clients across a range of markets and in locations worldwide. Our six integrated global advisory offerings help shape assets for competitive advantage, delivering value across all project stages and unlocking the potential a future-ready asset base.

This role will sit within the Asset Management and Performance team where you will play an integral part in co-designing solutions for our clients and the challenges they face, ensuring they realise full value from their assets, locking in or accelerating performance improvements.

Here are the key things you will do:

Support the growth and delivery capability of the Newcastle Asset Management Team to complete existing projects, win new work and develop IP within the business. This work includes:

Develop and assess asset management strategies

Help clients with capital and operations performance improvements

Assist clients in building effective asset management systems

Plan and conduct assessment of asset integrity and conditions

Translate analysis outputs into real world decisions for a range of stakeholders

Demonstrate a willingness to learn, explore and build strong networks in local and regional markets including energy, resources, transport, ports and marine, and Defence

Ability to manage and thrive in ambiguity

Strong communication skill across all levels of the business including previous Client management experience

Problem solving and analytical skills

Demonstrated experience in, or a sound understanding of asset management principles and knowledge of ISO 55,000

Professional qualifications in Engineering, Business or Accounting are highly desirable for this role, but not mandatory
