Administrative Assistant/Office Manager
Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing law practice. Under supervision of a single attorney, this position performs a wide range of office administration duties. You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to support a thriving criminal defense law practice.
Responsibilities:
Answer and screen all inbound telephone calls
Plan and schedule appointments and events
Greet and assist onsite guests
Develop and implement organized filing systems internally and with the courts
Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Receiving and handling mail
Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Skills:
Performing basic office support
Providing customer service
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
Excellent prioritization skills, gatekeeper, and strategic multi-tasking
Experience in handling confidential information
High attention to detail, strong proofreading skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Excels in a paperless environment
Proficient with use of voicemail, email, and Internet access
Licensing Requirements:
Notary Public
