Advance Testing, an established New York-based construction materials testing and inspection firm with several offices throughout the Northeast, has an opportunity available for a Human Resources Assistant.
Human Resources Assistant – RESPONSIBLITIES
Assist HR with onboarding of new employees and new hire paperwork
Assist with Job Fairs and recruiting
Help with office paperwork and various other office tasks
Maintain confidentiality of information
Assist HR with internal inquiries and requests from existing employees and new hires
Track and Manage open positions
Must be willing to step in and assist outside of normal day to day responsibilities when needed
Human Resources Assistant - QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
BA/BS degree in Human Resources preferred
Experience in human resources required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Must be detail oriented, organized and can prioritize, and able to work independently
Excellent communications skills
Able to work in a fast paced environment
People person, enthusiastic, go getter
Ability to clearly communicate with candidates, supervisors and other staff
Requires a valid, clean driver’s license
