Medical Assistant Dermatology

Job Description

Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Indiana is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Surgical Tech for a full time clinic position.

The position requires directly assisting our Mohs surgeon during surgeries, cosmetic procedures and office visits or assisting our PA. Our candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment autonomously and as a team with both the physician and coworkers.

Job Requirements

Prefer at least one year of experience in a clinical setting (Past MA, LPN, or CST experience is preferred)

Dermatology Experience a must

EMR experience

Strong surgical skills or experience

Strong, clear documentation skills

Must have superior interpersonal communication skills to proficiently educate patients, answer questions and put their minds at ease

Participate in continuing education and training programs

Able to serve and protect the dermatology practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, as well as federal, state and local requirements.

Covid 19 vaccination a must

Dr. C. William Hanke and our staff provide effective skin cancer treatment and surveillance through Mohs micrographic surgery and other alternative treatments. The additional mastery of laser treatments and cosmetic dermatological procedures distinguish our practice from the rest.

In addition to providing high-quality care and results to our patients, our practice participates in clinical trials in our accredited facility, where we tested and reported on Botox Cosmetic, Kybella, and other medical and cosmetic dermatology treatments.
