Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Field Applications Engineer / Field Solutions Architect to support Presales and Sales efforts of our Vehicle Networking products and solutions, covering the western region of the US. Core responsibilities include providing technical integration of Airgain next generation wireless networking products across multiple markets.
Essential Function:
Support the integration of Airgain technologies into new customer systems
Support deployed vehicle networking products such as routers and shark fin antennas
Work with customers to gather requirements and relay them to engineering team
Partner with the design engineers to meet customer requirements
Plan supporting resources to support customer project schedule
Deliver commercial and technical presentations to internal, external, channel customers
Troubleshoot and document field issues
Assist with 4G/5G product integrations into cellular networks
Provide training to customers on Airgain cellular connectivity
Understand customer project schedule and plan supporting resources from engineering, product management, and system test teams accordingly
Support QBRs, contribute to sales and marketing strategic planning and execution
Support Airgain connectivity demos
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related field (preferred)
3+ years professional technical sales/marketing experience
Display broad understanding of typical RF and wireless communications technologies
Demonstrated experience with Fixed Wireless Access, network repeaters, and LTE infrastructure
Strong understanding of user devices, radio networks, and vehicle networking
Understanding of commonly used communication protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, etc.) remote managed device protocols (TR-069, SNMP)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Able to travel + 25% of the time throughout the US and potentially internationally
Previous experience as a Field Application Engineer or similar externally facing technical role (Desired)
Experience resolving cellular infrastructure problems (Desired)
Hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting base stations and/or DAS
Proficient at using high speed data communication test equipment (Desired)
Debugging cell coverage, APNs, SIMs, terminal programs, and power supplies (Desired)
Advanced customer interaction and relationship management skills (engineering and senior executive levels) (Desired)
Experience with vehicle networking (Desired)

Compensation:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$120,000 + target annual bonus.
Our salary ranges are determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to the role, location, job-related skills, relevant education, experience and training.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target range for new hire base salary for the position across all US locations and varies by the location of the position.
