Electrical Project Engineer

Job Summary: The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a Direct Hire role with a leading Manufacturing client in the Irving, TX Area. This role will require work to be completed 100% Onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical accuracy and project timelines are met.

Develop electrical schematics and drawings using AutoCAD Electrical to meet project specifications.

Design and troubleshoot electrical systems, including PLC programming (Allen Bradley and Siemens) and supporting integration into existing systems.

Prepare detailed electrical calculations to support system designs and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and integration of electrical components.

Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff, ensuring the project team meets deadlines and quality standards.

Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication and ensure client needs and expectations are met.

Must Have Background/Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum of 7 years of Electrical Design experience with strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.

Minimum of 7 years of PLC Programming experience, specifically with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.

Experience in preparing electrical calculations to support design and project needs.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have Background/Skills:

Experience working with high power motor systems and their integration into complex electrical systems.
