Material Handler

Title: Material Handler

Hourly rate: $17/hour ($18/hour upon conversion)

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 7:00am-3:45pm.

Location: Henderson, NV

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate an industrial forklift truck to accomplish various materials handling assignments.

Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.

Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).

Unload receiving trucks to the inbound receiving area

Load shipping trucks with the correct units to staging area

When problems arise, resolves issues in a timely manner.

Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Performs daily custodial tasks as assigned

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Completes cross-training to support other inventory control functions (Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, Inventory Control Coordinator, and Inventory Control Analyst
