What You Get to Do:
This position is based in Tempe, Arizona and only candidates within a commutable distance to our Tempe office will be considered.
Lead and assist on contract negotiations and management of active contracts for contract terms and renewal periods
Drive RFP/RFQ inquiries as needed to assist in evaluating vendor quality, price and service
Act as a liaison between vendors and Sequoia in reference to services, products, performance, contract renewals and terminations
Create, maintain and log all DocuSign/signature agreements
Monitor and respond to Sequoia’s procurement email account
Review current contract for any duplicative spend and suggest recommendations for cost savings
Document proper processes and procedures for company awareness
Process purchase request through Sequoia’s procurement platform (Zip)
Generate a weekly open purchase request report.
What You Bring:
7+ years of experience in Procurement or equivalent roles
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) required (Business or Finance/Accounting preferred)
Experience with ownership over procurement functions
Experience working with Zip, Brex, Netsuite and other system platforms desirable
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced environment
Strong computer and analytical skills, including high proficiency with Excel
Hands-on, team player who possesses a can-do attitude
Attention to detail, organized, and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement
