Job Overview:

We are seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fort Myers, FL. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on trauma, coronary, and stroke cases. The ideal candidate should have at least 2+ years of experience as a CT Tech, be comfortable working in the ER, and have prior travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT scans for patients, ensuring accuracy and safety in line with physician orders.

Position patients effectively for scans while ensuring comfort and safety.

Administer IV contrast agents and monitor patients throughout the procedure.

Work closely with the ER team to assist with trauma, stroke, and coronary cases.

Operate CT machines, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely, accurate imaging and effective care delivery.

Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR.

Follow all hospital and departmental protocols, ensuring quality control and safety standards.

Requirements:

Experience: 2+ years as a CT Technologist; prior travel experience is highly preferred.

Certifications:

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.

BLS (AHA) required.

State License: FL license required.

Floating: Ability to float to other sister campuses or departments as needed.

Scrub Color: Not specified.

Radius Rule: 50-mile radius from the facility.

Additional Information:

Schedule Flexibility: ALL RTO (requests for time off) or schedule requests must be submitted at the time of submission. No schedule changes or RTO approvals after submission.

Traveler Expectations: Travelers are expected to perform as core staff members, functioning effectively within the team and department.
