Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

· Responsible for all day-to-day duties of the Shipping & Receiving Department

· Must understand M2M Software and any other software as it relates to shipping, receiving, purchasing and inventory

· Responsible for effective communication with transportation companies, and their representatives

· Responsible for accuracy and quality of all shipments and receivers.

· Responsible for import and export paperwork and procedures.

· May require overtime or staying late or assigning to qualified personnel to ensure shipments are loaded

· Back up for stockroom and crate/pack personnel as required

· Responsible for ordering supplies needed for shipping, receiving, crate, pack and inventory departments

· Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of shipping and receiving, crate and pack and inventory areas

· May include other duties and assignments as assigned by Plant Manager or Management

Other Duties as assignedRequirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Skills: Basic computer knowledge, forklift, overhead crane operation helpful. Ability to operate pneumatic nail/staple guns, operate radial arm saw, effective communication desirable. Adapt to changing procedures/responsibilities, capable of supervision of employees in assigned work areas.

Experience: Minimum 3 years Shipping and Receiving background in Manufacturing environment

Other: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, bend, use hands, and fingers for 8 + hours. (Overtime may be required)
