Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description

An outstanding, full-time position has become available in the South Houston, TX area for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a strong and compassionate veterinary specialist team, with full access to an in-house advanced diagnostics laboratory complete with a 3T MRI, and dedicated to caring for a wide variety of pets and exotic animals. This position would earn a highly competitive base salary and substantial bonuses, a full benefits package including (100% employer paid) medical benefits, relocation assistance, 4 weeks of PTO and other outstanding perks.

Required work experience includes:

2+ years of demonstrated experience with a variety of surgical procedures as a Veterinary Surgeon is a MUST

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school is a MUST

ACVS board certification (or ability to obtain certification within a 2-year period) is a MUST

Previous experience in veterinary neurosurgery, neurosurgical techniques, or specialized hemilaminectomy/laminotomy procedures is a BIG PLUS

Passionate interest in, or previous experience with, regenerative therapy is a BIG PLUS

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and open to mentoring others is a MUST
