Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Heavy Equipment Parts Counter Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment parts, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage inventory efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their heavy equipment needs.
Sales: Process parts sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and reorder parts as necessary.
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and advice to customers regarding parts compatibility and installation.
Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package parts orders for shipping or customer pickup.
Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and resolve any discrepancies.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales, and inventory movements.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as service and sales, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial truck or automotive industry. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding of service and parts operations. Experience in business management or a related field is preferred.
