Position Overview/Purpose:

The Market Research and Development Manager will expand and grow opportunities in Transit Media markets. The Market Research and Development Manager will have direct accountability for achieving growth objectives in targeted and projected markets.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Partners with the Adsposure President and Director of Marketing to evaluate current and future targets for expansion.

Identifies and investigates new opportunities through research and competitive analysis.

Updates and maintains market information database to ensure all information is accurate and up to date. This includes the development and implementation of an action plan for a new market with roles and duties assigned.

Develops and maintains database of market information.

Meets and exceeds goals and budgets for each project.

Understands and communicates full impact upon the business concerning new markets and projects.

Adds newly awarded markets to databases, CRM system, and updates existing market information on an ongoing basis.

Constantly monitors and evaluates the state of each market served, providing quarterly reports to senior management relative to performance in each market.

Quick communication to leadership about identified market opportunities, combining collected intel and what was uncovered.

Completes presentations and reports for management and sales concerning new markets and opportunities on a quarterly basis.

Develops and holds team accountable to the timeline required.

Standardizes and maintains SOP’s for the position and makes recommendations for process improvement.

Some travel may be required.

Other responsibilities as required.Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Statistics, Statistical Analysis, Paralegal Studies, Public Administration, Government Contracting, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in sales, marketing or business development environments, with a strong background in data management and analysis.

Exceptional analytical skills and ability to manage and synthesize large amounts of data.

Experience with contracts or procurement within the public sector highly desirable. Experience managing and directing large teams without direct reporting structure.

Self-starter with desire and ability to see the ‘big picture’ and take initiative to integrate new or improve existing processes to achieve better results.

Understands the importance of and the ability to meet very strict deadlines. Works with a sense of urgency when gathering information and addressing concerns.

Proven track record of delivering against goals.

Experience with Airtable, Access, or other data management tools a plus.

Independent thinking is required as well as resilience, passion, and high-energy.

Must demonstrate strong analytical and excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Experience writing, and winning, proposals or experience with content creation for sales purposes.
