Job Title: Machine Tool Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Tool Electrician to join our team. The role involves working on floor track systems for our Canada and Auburn Hills locations, as well as foam injection machines for seating equipment lines and instrument panels. This long-term position includes training and traveling with the team to perform installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full wiring of assembly lines and presses, reading schematics, and terminating wires. Experience with panel building is a plus.
Responsibilities
Perform full wiring of assembly lines and presses.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
Terminate wires as required.
Conduct electrical installation and troubleshooting up to 480V.
Understand and troubleshoot circuitry and wiring.
Break down old equipment and rewire new equipment.
Use hand tools and connectors; maintain a personal toolbox.
Troubleshoot and install sensors and fuses.Essential Skills
Ability to read schematics and blueprint symbols.
Proficiency in full wiring of machines.
Skill in terminating wires.
Experience reading volt meters and electrical meters.
Knowledge of circuitry and troubleshooting.
Willingness to travel for 2-4 weeks at a time.
Possession of a valid passport for travel to the US and Canada.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with panel building.

Work Environment
The team consists of 25-30 individuals in a clean work environment. Travel is required locally, within the US, and to Canada, with a per diem provided. Travel durations are 2-4 weeks at a time, with breaks at home over the holidays. A significant project is scheduled in Canada this summer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wixom, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
