ComResource is looking for an Office 365 Administrator.

We are seeking a highly skilled Office 365 Administrator to manage, configure, and maintain our Office 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all Office 365 applications, maintain security protocols, and provide technical support to end-users. This position will work closely with internal and external IT teams, manage integrations, and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to maximize platform effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Administration & Management:

Manage and configure Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other productivity tools.

Administer user accounts, groups, licenses, and permissions within the Microsoft 365 environment.

Automate IT processes via Power Platform technologies such as Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Model Driven Apps.

Oversee third-party enterprise applications (Adobe Enterprise, Dropbox, RingCentral, etc.) and other ancillary systems.

Technical Support:

Provide Level 2/3 support for Office 365-related technical issues.

Assist end-users with configurations, troubleshooting, and resolving technical concerns across Office 365 applications.

Monitoring & Reporting:

Monitor system health, uptime, and performance, ensuring availability across all Office 365 applications.

Generate reports on usage, performance, and potential improvements to optimize the platform’s effectiveness.

Security & Compliance:

Implement and manage security features such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

Configure O365 SSO integrations with third-party enterprise applications.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by configuring Office 365 security settings and policies.

Updates & Maintenance:

Ensure that the Office 365 environment is regularly updated with the latest patches, features, and security updates.

Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and integrations to improve system functionality and performance.

Collaboration & Strategy:

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Office 365 with other business systems.

Develop strategies to optimize collaboration and productivity using Office 365 tools.

Address issues reported through the problem management system in compliance with company SLAs.

Training & Documentation:

Develop and deliver training sessions to end-users to drive tool adoption and maximize tool efficiency.

Maintain documentation on configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Essentials:

Experience:

Proven experience as an Office 365 Administrator or similar role, with hands-on experience managing Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related applications.

Strong expertise in PowerShell for Office 365 administration.

Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related tools.

Strong knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, and email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Model Driven Apps for automation.

Experience administering third-party enterprise applications such as Adobe Enterprise, Dropbox, RingCentral, etc.

Problem Solving & Collaboration:

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across IT teams.

Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Experience:

Experience in large enterprise environments and a strong background in security practices.

Previous experience with ITIL frameworks and processes is a plus.

Skills:

Strong consultative approach with the ability to identify process gaps and implement solutions.

Ability to analyze and recommend improvements based on system performance and user feedback.
