We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Manager with at least 5 years’ relevant experience join our team.

The successful candidate will carry out contract management activities for the various sectors the business operates in, however many projects will be focused on the railway sector within the UK and Ireland.

Key Accountabilities

Manage all elements of the contract life cycle on multiple projects

Manage from drafting and pre-contract negotiations through to post contract completion

Ensure projects compliance to company policies and procedures

Ensure adherence to legislation and regulations

Provide early warnings, CE’s, variations in accordance with contract

Carry out risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate contractual risks

Implement Dispute resolution mechanisms

Communicate all essential terms and conditions from project contract to site Management teams

Experience & Qualifications

5 years contract management experience within Construction or Rail industries

Experience in forms of contracts within the industry, NEC essential

Commercially focused with a strong understanding of financial metrics, budgets, and profit margins

Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and industry professionals

Knowledge & experience of civil engineering techniques relevant to rail, highways, environmental and energy sectors.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite – including MS project or equivalent

Competent in the English language

Hours

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
