As the AM Line Cook at Beer Hall, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, focusing on efficiency and quality during morning service. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and uphold food safety standards. This part-time role is only for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning shifts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and cook menu items according to CBC Beer Hall recipes and specifications.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for service.
• Follow food safety guidelines and always maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold CBC’s standards.
• Handle and store ingredients properly, labeling and rotating stock as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organizing the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and safety guidelines accurately.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety practices.
