Job Summary:

The teacher will instruct limited EL students in a Transitional Bilingual Education (TBE) program. The teacher will cooperatively work with other classroom teachers, pupil personnel team, and complementary subject area teachers. The teacher will be responsible for the screening assessment and follow-up on students whose first language is not English, meeting needs of English language development, evaluating student progress, and communicating progress to parents.

Qualifications:

Illinois Teaching License with Elementary Education (K-9) endorsement required

Transitional Bilingual Educator endorsement required Salary:
