Administrative Assistant
Full time Monday-Friday 10:00am - 6:00PM
Job Description: The Boys & Girls Club of Newburgh seeks a part-time Office Manager/Administrative Assistant. The Office Manager /Administrative Assistant is the community's first point of contact with the organization by telephone and in person. The individual in this position must present themselves in a professional manner at all times.
The Office Manager/Administrative Assistant will answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate persons, assist callers by providing accurate information regarding program activities, take messages for staff, manage the sign-in/out process for parents and students, maintain record-keeping systems for various programs, compile and input statistical data into program management databases, and perform such office duties as are related to the daily management of the programs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity. Strong administrative, communication and computer skills are required. Prior experience working with youth, and office administration helpful. Microsoft Proficient (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer).
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Company Description
