Sr Desktop Support / 40-45hr / Onsite / Fairfield County, CT
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Support Specialist to provide top-tier technical support for our trading floor and broader end-user computing environment. This role demands deep expertise in Windows-based systems, Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, and networking, along with the urgency and precision required to support fast-paced, high-stakes trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support for trading floor users, ensuring minimal downtime and immediate response to technical issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Office 365, Azure AD, desktop applications, and custom trading tools.
Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and GPO configurations.
Monitor and support LAN/WAN connectivity, including routers, switches, VPNs, and network printers.
Assist in the deployment and maintenance of end-user hardware, including desktops, laptops, thin clients, and peripherals.
Support unified communications tools and VoIP systems used in trading environments.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to resolve escalated issues and implement solutions.
Document procedures, configurations, and knowledge base articles for ongoing support and training.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in desktop support, with at least 2 supporting trading or financial services environments.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure, and networking protocols.
Experience supporting low-latency environments and high-pressure users such as traders or executives.
