Position Overview:

As an Account Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, and supporting operational processes. This position involves coordinating client requirements, processing orders efficiently, and working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Account Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and problem resolution.

Order Processing and Fulfillment

Oversee the entry and tracking of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality control teams to align order specifications with company capabilities.

Monitor inventory levels and address any issues affecting fulfillment.

EDI and SPS Process Management

Handle EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions, ensuring smooth order processing through automated systems.

Manage SPS Commerce processes, coordinating data exchanges with customers and vendors to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to EDI and SPS transactions in collaboration with IT and operations teams, including reviewing and logging failures, resolving data issues, and reloading data as required.

Use SPS commerce and customer vendor portals to retrieve/send EDI documents

Create ASNs, UCC128 labels and packing lists

Submit ASN for shipments from 3PLs

Submit invoices for EDI customers

Third party portal management

Monitor generation and transmission of both inbound and outbound EDI data.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure all customer orders meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation and align account processes with company policies.

Performance Tracking and Optimization

Analyze customer order trends, identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Support data-driven decision-making by maintaining accurate records and generating performance reports.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in account coordination, order fulfillment, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of EDI platforms and processes and SPS Commerce workflows, with the ability to troubleshoot related issues.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring clear collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Proficiency in ERP systems and data management tools preferred.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing customer orders and documentation.

Ability to work under pressure while managing competing priorities.

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing customer concerns.
