About the Role - Lead manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams. This VP role offers high visibility, direct impact on process and team development, and the chance to shape long-term operational strategy.

Responsibilities -

Supervising Engineering Manager, Quality Control Manager, Production and Shipping Room Supervisor and select manufacturing engineers.

Supervises all manufacturing operations.

Provides input into manufacturing process improvements.

Develops, trains and encourages employee direct reports.

Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists employees in solving problems.

Assists managers and supervisors in establishing work priorities.

Provides backup to managers and supervisors during times of absence from work by ensuring duties are performed.

Has the ability to read blueprints and provide input into efficient and effective manufacturing processes.

Understands gear manufacturing equipment, CNC lathes and mills, and grinding equipment.

Make recommendations for improving production techniques.

Ensures compliance with Quality Assurance procedures consistent with ISO.

Provide technical support to managers and supervisors.

Work closely with other enterprise locations to improve enterprise performance.

Monitor and provide input into longer-term scheduling issues.

Assist with other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, industrial manufacturing, or equivalent experience.

Required Skills and Experience - Strong communication skills and supervisory experience; understanding of probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry; familiarity with CNC machine code (g&m,); CAD/CAM familiarity; experience with gear grinding equipment;

Preferred Skills - Familiarity with CNC lathes and mills; understanding of GMM and related QC/QA topics; ERP familiarity
