Job Title: Asphalt Sales Estimator

Location: Birmingham / Gadsden / Pelham

Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 base (DOE) + Vehicle Allowance

Position Overview

We’re seeking a self-starter with a proven background in paving, heavy civil, or general construction. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled estimator but also a strong representative of the company—someone who thrives in a team environment while independently building relationships with contractors, developers, and residential homebuilders.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for asphalt paving and sitework projects

Identify bid opportunities and manage the bid process from start to finish

Cultivate and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and homebuilders

Collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure alignment between estimates and execution

Attend job site walkthroughs, pre-bid meetings, and client presentations as needed

Stay current on market pricing, industry trends, and competitor activity

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in paving, heavy civil, or general construction

Strong understanding of asphalt estimating, takeoffs, and bid proposals

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and initiative

Comfortable working in both the field and the office as needed

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

Valid driver’s license
