We are a full-charge bookkeeping firm. We specialize in bookkeeping services for small to mid-sized businesses. Our fast-growing organization is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to keep multiple clients' accounting records in order using QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate for this position has a background and education in bookkeeping and/or accounting with extensive experience using QuickBooks Online. Position Description:
Reports to the Bookkeeping Manager
Responsibilities are expected to be carried out without direct supervision
Manage day-to-day transactions, as well as create and update financial statements
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records
Tasks include recording deposits and expenditures, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and using QBO to input data accurately
Learn specifics about how to best assist clients with their bookkeeping needs
Manage journal entries and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Flexible schedule with ability to work remotely
Paid orientation
Up to 32 hours per week
Experience level:
3 years of bookkeeping experience is required
Multiple entity experience a plus
Candidates must agree to a thorough background check and sign contracts: ICA (Independent Contractor Agreement) and Non-disclosure Agreement. This is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACT position which receives a 1099 not a W-2.
