Quality Control Lead

The 2nd shift Quality Control Technician Lead is responsible for maintaining consistency and ensure that the final products meet the required quality and safety standards before they reach consumers. Leading the team by example.

This is a 2nd shift direct hire position. The hours are Monday-Friday from 3pm-11pm. Candidates must have prior quality control lead experience!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect tanks and enclosures at different phases to verify compliance of build.

Document phase inspections for each assembly build.

Inspect UL Tank builds for visual compliance.

Inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for compliance.

Participate in the required safety program, and work in a safe manner.

Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the Quality team

Other duties as assigned and qualified.

Additional skills/Attributes needed/Comments:

Prior experience with quality control inspections, strong accountability and initiative

Problem-solving skills

Documentation

Drive and attention to detail

Identify defects

Capable of reading tape measurements and reading/interpreting shop drawings

Computer skills to include (Outlook, Word)

Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language

License, Certifications, or Training Requirements:

Must complete Industry Safety Training Requirements

Previous Quality Assurance training

Experience & Education:

At least 1 year quality experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in the industry is preferred
