Position Summary
We are hiring Technical Service Agents to support Ultium Home customers with technical diagnostics, remote troubleshooting, and warranty-related service case management for EV charging equipment.
This is a remote contractor position that allows for flexible, off-site work with 20–30% travel as needed to support service initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of Ultium Home charging systems
Provide technical guidance and support for on-site service teams
Manage customer cases in CRM systems, including updates and escalations
Handle parts orders, warranty claims, and return merchandise authorizations (RMAs)
Support and create training materials for new agents
Lead technical escalations and provide expert-level product support
Capture and report insights to improve workflows and customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications
Associate or Trade degree in a related field, or 4+ years equivalent electrical experience
3+ years’ experience as an electrician or working on electrical systems (EV charger experience highly preferred)
2+ years’ experience in a customer-facing or call centre environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
Valid driver’s license
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, and manage priorities in dynamic environments
Demonstrated safety-first mindset
