Business Process Engineering Associate II
Responsibilities
Consult with senior business owners to understand business strategy and needs
Work as an individual contributor or lead others on specific process improvement or measurement projects
Educate and coach others in business process management methods
Prepare and present recommendations and status of initiatives to executive management
Gather process performance data
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis
Identify opportunities for process improvement or organizational/job design
Design future state processes gaining input and buy-in from multiple stakeholders
Develop BPMN 2.0 process models in process modeling software
Create charts, diagrams, and impactful deliverable documents using PowerPoint, Excel, Visio or Word
Conduct work observations; measure work activities; set productivity standards
Facilitate group working sessions
Administer process change governance
Establish, measure and report key performance indicators
Plan and manage project tasks, risks, and timelines
Documents processes, policies, procedures and other key executive documentation
Qualifications
Lean / process certification or Process Banking experience(very strong equivalent experience may be considered)
Experience training and directly using lean and/or agile management methods for knowledge/service industries
Prior success in leading process redesign efforts on large programs
Ability to work in a consultative manner across multiple business areas
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Ability to think holistically about complex organizational, process, and technology systems
Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to personal work quality
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting with senior executives
Bachelors degree required, masters preferred
Preferred
Experience with customer journey mapping, identification of moments of truth, and action planning.
Strategic organizational change management experience from intent development through realization with strong focus on identifying and mitigating change risks
Working experience with one or more financial services functions: Wholesale Banking activities like Global Markets, Transactional Banking, Lending, Transaction Processing, Deposit Operations.
Experience
More than 3 years of experience in a Process Management/Process Engineering role AND 2+ years leading others in strategic planning/process engineering

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
