We at Claruim are looking for a dedicated, customer-oriented Devops Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a natural aptitude for managing projects effectively.
As an Devops Manager within the client’s, you will work closely with the Support manager on scheduling of changes, dependency coordination, communication and overall oversight of our pre-production environments. Responsible for leading a team who are responsible for scheduling, supporting and ongoing care and feeding of the pre-production environments.
Key responsibilities:
Release Process Orchestration
Experience in Build, Deployment & environment Management
CI / CD – Build & Deploy automation
Oversight and coordination of changes deployed to QA environments
All code / config migration to gold copy QA done by QA team
Configuration Automation
Real-time single view Release dashboards
Provide DevOps process definition, gap analysis · Establish defect prioritization forum
Ensure proper change documentation & KT
Intermediate knowledge in SCM tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
Prioritize workflow, document processes, organize diverse material, and handle multiple competing and changing priorities
Conduct Review calls with Client Infra and Application Team to understand current state
Assess current state and identify opportunities for automation and toil reduction
Design and implement framework to categorize / prioritize tasks that can be fully automated / Semi automated / avoided
Track outstanding defects
Create dashboards and alerts required for SRE Metrics compliance analysis
Work with SRE leads / Ops leads for creating backlog of Automation user stories and operate in sprint mode
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support Client's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Required skills and Desired Experience
Project / Program management skills
8+ years leading a team of project managers and engineers
8+ years’ experience in supporting multiple concurrent competing work efforts
8+ years in identifying dependencies and addressing scheduling conflicts
8++ years’ experience with project coordination tools like Jira and MS Project
4+ years of Software Engineering with languages like Python, Java or JavaScript
Self-motivated, willing to take initiative, capable of simultaneously working on multiple assignments, team-player, able to adapt and apply new technologies when needed.
Experience with Container Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
Advance knowledge on multiple software development lifecycle processes
Experience with in-house developed solution and vendor products to provide a stable testing environment for new/enhanced application solutions
Oncall experience for addressing troubleshooting tickets
Solid communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability co create dashboards and alerts required to provide quick and effective communication to team members and consumers of the environments
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS/BE) Relevant Field - Required
