What You Will Do:

The 2nd Shift Tool Crib Attendant/Inventory Analyst reports to the Materials Manager and is responsible for maintaining material inventory levels.

Essential Tasks:

Create purchase requisitions, pack lists, and BOLs, and review material drawings and certifications.

Maintain inventory records through receiving, tracking, and barcoding materials.

Perform weekly and bi-weekly inventory counts to correct real-time inventory.

Arrange and organize supply shelves as needed and dispose of old or expired supplies.

Print SDS labels and maintain the SDS binder to ensure labels are always available.

Receive purchased castings and material from vendors while verifying that the packing list, certifications, material certifications, and other paperwork are correct.

Review the purchase part and the stock manufacturing part report, and order items accordingly.

Issue or make available supplies required to perform production operations

Process returns and credits.

Create jobs and routers for manufacturing parts.

Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.

Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE

Operate the overhead crane when necessary

Report proper labor hours in the ERP system

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties

Any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values

Physical Demand Levels:

Lift, push, and/or pull 35 pounds regularly

Stand and walk at least 95% of the scheduled shift

Able to climb stairs throughout the work shift

Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move materials around.

Operate the overhead crane when necessary

Frequently switch between gross and fine motor skills

Perform under AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditation

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required

Experience with the Epicor ERP system is strongly preferred

Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment

2 years of previous inventory experience is strongly preferred

Computer Skills (Intermediate level) required

Ability to perform basic math functions

Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills

Must meet the ITAR definition of §120.15 U.S. person

Must be able to train on the first shift until ready to transition to the second shift

Shift: Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. This hourly position has a generous shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and success!
