Critical Skills/Technologies:
Steel Framing (High Priority)
Conceptual framework is consistent across projects—experience is critical.
Upcoming projects will heavily focus on steel framing.
Proficiency in RISA 3D and IdeaStatica is a plus for connection design.
Concrete Systems (High Priority)
General Foundation Design: Includes flat slabs and other common systems
Tilt-Wall Design: (Must have some experience)
Involves large precast concrete panels for industrial building walls.
Specialized area with a steep learning curve.
No internal training capacity—must bring existing tilt-wall experience.
Pier-Supported/Deep Foundations:
Common in Texas due to soil conditions.
Used in light commercial and residential projects.
Not overly complex but requires foundational concrete knowledge.
Desired Skills/Technologies:
Wood Framing (Lower Priority)
A component of the role but not a primary focus.
Basic competency is sufficient.
Retaining Wall Design
Occasional task.
Straightforward in nature; not a major area of concern.
Experience/Degree/Certifications Required: Bachelors of Engineering in Structural Engineering and a PE License
