Role Summary
The Client Service Representative (CSR) will join The Joseph Group (TJG) on the ground floor to build a solid foundation and continue to grow in this role with an Advisor career path in mind; the timing of which is dependent upon readiness of both the CSR and the firm. The CSR will become familiar with and primarily execute client service duties and secondarily be involved with financial planning-related projects which include, but are not limited to, those listed below. Duties and Responsibilities
Client Service
Serve as a member of the Service Excellence Team (SET).
Build and maintain strong working relationships with all members of the team.
Provide High Touch Service for clients.
Prepare and complete new account openings and transfers.
Take ownership of and provide solutions for complex client situations.
Communicate in a manner that ensures clients have a terrific TJG experience with every interaction.
Utilize the Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Advisor Reporting software, Tamarac, to manage, document, and research service requests.
Process daily and as-needed service requests.
Monitor, research, and process all daily alerts from primary custodian, Charles Schwab.
Ensure efficient execution of client requests with a friendly and personal touch, such as but not limited to:
Cash requests/distributions.
Account updates (e.g., transfers, beneficiaries, account links, etc.).
Seek to make The Joseph Group systems and processes better and scalable.
Spearhead technology initiatives within TJG.
Follow compliance procedures and document, as applicable.

Financial Planning
Gain technical knowledge in line with the components of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation (i.e., General Planning, Retirement, Investments, Taxes, Insurance, Estate)
Assist Wealth Advisory Associates with:
Preparing financial plans using e-Money financial planning software
Building Client Storyboards which show clients how wealth aligns with objectives
Meeting preparation and follow-up with specific client tasks
Special projects
Qualifications
This position typically requires the following qualifications:
Experience that demonstrates people and teamwork skills
A passion for caring for clients
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Strong technical skills to support various technology-related projects
Proactive, self-motivated personality
Ability to prioritize while maintaining detail-oriented organization of multiple tasks
Excellent communication, listening, and relationship building skills
A team player in The Joseph Group’s “Best Places to Work” culture
Desire and ability to work successfully in a small company environment
Experience with investment and/or client service platform(s) is a plus
