What we are looking for:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and support the growth and development of our team. This role will be responsible for implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance, managing employee relations, and supporting talent acquisition and retention efforts. The ideal candidate is people-focused, process-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, and HRIS management
Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives
Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws
Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations as needed
Facilitate training and development programs to support employee growth and organizational effectiveness
Support compensation and benefits strategy in partnership with HR leadership
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Use data and analytics to inform HR strategy and report on key HR metrics
Foster an inclusive, positive workplace culture aligned with company values
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification a plus)
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, ADP, Workday)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
Nice to Have:
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification
Experience working in technology or education
Multi-state or remote workforce HR management experience
