Hiring Talend Architect – Data Integration & Mainframe Modernization

We are looking for an experienced Talend Architect to lead end-to-end ETL modernization initiatives, especially focused on Mainframe to Talend migration. If you have a strong background in COBOL/DB2/VSAM and are skilled in architecting scalable, high-performance Talend solutions — this is your opportunity to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Talend architecture, including data integration and ETL components.
Build standard frameworks and reusable Talend components, templates, and best practices.
Lead solutioning around high availability, fault tolerance, performance tuning, and error handling.
Analyze existing COBOL code to identify optimization opportunities for Talend migration.
Develop data maps and transformations to migrate mainframe programs to modern ETL flows.
Use TDM tools to map/convert VSAM files and load them into DB2 using Talend.
Design, develop, test, and deploy Talend jobs and workflows.
Define deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and alerting procedures for Talend solutions.
Drive comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and regression testing.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore Talend developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align migration efforts with business goals.
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including PMs and business users.
Desired Skills:
Deep expertise in Talend Data Integration and Mainframe systems (COBOL, DB2, VSAM)
Strong understanding of ETL best practices, performance tuning, and architecture patterns
Experience with TDM (Test Data Management) and working with VSAM as source
Proven ability to lead teams and projects, both onsite and offshore
